Dog Training
Collars
A great way to go about
training your dog is getting a dog training collar. Dog
training collars are a great aid to help teach your dog basic
obedience commands like stay, sit and paw.
Make sure that when you buy a dog
training collar that the collar fits comfortably on your dog’s
neck. Dog training collars is a great option if your dog has
not responded to regular training.
There are several different types
of dog training collars. One of the most bought dog training
collars are electronic dog training collars also known as shock
collars. These send a small and harmless shock to the dog and
are either remote controlled activated or can also be activated
when the dog barks, to control barking.

Many are hesitant to using a
dog training collar because they think it may harm their dog.
However vets and professional dog trainers recommend using dog
training collars, as they are made to not harm your dog and
send a harmless shock for correction.
Another type of dog training
collar that is used is a choke collar or slip collar. The name
sounds a bit dangerous, but again it is a great way to train
your dog while on the leash. You do not need to jerk the collar
too hard as this could cause discomfort for your dog. The choke
collar only needs a gentle tug and the sound that the chains
make are irritating to the dog so often they will correct
themselves so that they don't have to hear that
sound.
Training your dog should be a fun
activity, remember to not over train your dog and use the dog
training collar as recommended.
