Dog Obedience
Training
One of the most searched help
that dog owners seek is dog obedience training. This could be
due to dogs with behavior problems or perhaps a dog owner who
has never owned a dog before and is not sure where to start
with training their dog.
Dog obedience training is
great for both the owner and the dog as this helps strengthen
the bond between the two and enjoy a healthy relationship.
Remember that dog obedience training should be fun and your dog
should not become afraid of you but should always trust
you.

Many dog
obedience problems can be solved easily. For example if your
dog has a chewing problem then make sure it has lots of chewing
toys and that the dogs area is free of chewing disasters. Crate
training your dog can help this as
well.
Problems such
as biting can be solved by not playing rough with your dog and
not letting it play with your hand as well. Sometimes the best
training is just a lot of love and patience. If your dog is an
adult you need to be patient while teaching obedience
commands.
The most important obedience
training commands your dog should learn is sit, stay and lie
down (or drop). These are relatively easy for your dog to learn
but it is important that you have patience, especially if your
dog is an adult. Also make sure not to over train your dog,
especially when they are just puppies as they will become tired
very quickly, make the obedience training sessions short and
fun, and remember to always reward your dog.
